Split Rules
We have added the ability to translate split rules from specific POS to the exchanges. You are now able to see a Split Rule column in the Ticket Manager which will display the split rule set for each listing.
Victory Live Split Rule Definitions:
Below are internal notes that can be added to listings in your POS. These notes can be used across all point of sales even if we have the ability to translate specific split settings for certain POS as covered in the next section. (For those cases, the decision is based on your preference.)
Note: We do not have translation capabilities for EI Box Office or Ticket Network POS, so that is why we have the internal note split options as noted next.
NoSplit - Will not allow splitting of the ticket group at all. Internal Note: NOSPLIT
AnySplit - Allows the sale of any number of tickets from this group. Internal Note: ANYSPLIT
NoSingles - Sell any quantity from the group that will not leave a single ticket left. Ex: can sell 1, 2, 3 from 5 but not 4. Internal Note: NOSINGLES
Custom - Allows for custom splits based on a secondary field called SplitValue. This field will store a comma separated set of numbers indicating what are valid splits. Ex 2,3 will allow for selling of sets of 2 or 3 but no other quantities. Internal Note: CUSTOM:x,y,z
Setting Splits in Your POS
We also have the ability to translate split rules from split settings in your POS. This is limited to work only with Skybox, POSNext, and TradeDesk POS. When using split settings in your POS, you do not need to use the internal notes unless you are setting a custom rule that your POS does not have.
